Purpose of processing personal data and legal basis for the processing

Personal data can be used to manage and develop the customer relationships of Omatalousjohtaja Oy and its partners. It can also be used for marketing purposes and to develop the company’s operations.

Registered groups of persons

The persons in the customer register have or have had an existing customer relationship or a potential customer relationship with the registrar. 

The persons in the subcontracting register have or have had an existing subcontracting relationship or a potential subcontracting relationship with the registrar.

Customer register, data content

• Name
• Company name and title
• Contact details
• Email address
• Phone number
• Company industry category and turnover
• Other classification data describing the company’s operations
• Customer history, contacts, offers, orders, contracts
• Information provided by the customer e.g., feedback

Subcontracting register, data content

• Name
• Company name and title
• Contact details
• Email address
• Phone number
• Information provided by the subcontractor e.g., work history, references and recommendations

Data sources

Personal information is collected from the customer and subcontracting agreement or directly from the registrant. The data source can be a call for bids, submitted by the customer or subcontractor to the controller on behalf of himself, his company or his employer, or other contact in which the data subject has provided the information. Information obtained from potential partners can include personal information. In addition, personal data can be collected from Suomen Asiakastieto and other similar public and private registers.

Disclosure of personal information to third parties

The information can be disclosed and transferred to Omatalousjohtaja Oy’s subcontractors subject to the restrictions of the Personal Data Act, and to the authorities in cases provided by law.

Transferring of personal data outside the EU or the EEA

The data will not be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

The right to inspect and correct one’s data 

The data subject has the right to check the personal data stored in the register and to request the correction of incorrect data. A request for inspection and rectification must be made in writing to the controller.

Right to restrict processing

The data subject may object to the processing of personal data if he or she feels that the personal data has been processed unlawfully. The data subject has the right to prohibit the controller from processing personal data concerning him or her for the purposes of direct mail, distance selling and other direct marketing, as well as market and opinion research.
